Terms of Service
The rules that apply when you access or operate PostPing.
Last updated: 14 July 2026
1. Acceptance of these terms
By accessing the PostPing website, signing in with Discord, adding the bot to a server, or operating the self-hosted software, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use PostPing.
2. What PostPing does
PostPing monitors supported social-platform accounts and sends notifications to Discord channels selected by authorized server managers. Some platforms are monitored through official APIs, while others may use a local browser session stored on the machine running PostPing.
3. Eligibility and authority
You must be legally able to enter into these terms. You may only configure Discord servers, channels, accounts, and platform sessions that you are authorized to manage. You are responsible for the actions taken through your Discord account.
4. Acceptable use
Do not use PostPing to violate laws, platform rules, intellectual-property rights, privacy rights, access controls, or Discord community standards. Do not use it for harassment, spam, deceptive impersonation, unlawful surveillance, or attempts to bypass platform security.
5. Third-party services
Discord, YouTube, X, Instagram, TikTok, browser vendors, hosting providers, and domain providers are independent third parties. Their availability, APIs, page structure, limits, and terms can change. PostPing does not control those services and cannot guarantee uninterrupted compatibility.
6. Local monitoring
When local browser monitoring is enabled, the operator is responsible for signing in to the relevant platform and protecting the browser profile stored on the host machine. PostPing does not ask users to bypass CAPTCHA, access controls, or platform restrictions.
7. Availability and changes
PostPing is provided on an as-available basis. Features may be changed, paused, or removed to improve security, reliability, or compliance. Notification delivery can be delayed or missed because of platform changes, connectivity, rate limits, browser sessions, Discord permissions, or host-machine downtime.
8. Your data and security
You are responsible for keeping bot tokens, OAuth secrets, API keys, server access, browser sessions, and configuration files secure. Never publish config.json or the data directory.
9. Intellectual property
PostPing software, branding, interface, and original materials remain the property of their respective owner. Third-party names, logos, posts, videos, and trademarks belong to their respective owners.
10. Disclaimer and limitation
To the maximum extent permitted by law, PostPing is provided without warranties of uninterrupted operation, fitness for a particular purpose, or compatibility with every platform change. The operator is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses caused by use or inability to use the service.
11. Suspension or termination
Access may be restricted when necessary to protect the service, users, Discord communities, third-party platforms, or legal compliance. You may stop using PostPing at any time and remove the bot from your server.
12. Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated. The date at the top of this page indicates the latest revision. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
